This Senior Financial Analyst position is located in Denver, Colorado.
Influence the development of repeatable business, operational, and financial processes for all necessary teams
Survey financial results, condense key trends, appraise current and future business risks, and relay critical updates to senior leadership in the course of normal preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting
Assist in other ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests
Implement financial analysis as part of business performance optimization
Cultivate dynamic relationships with Finance/Accounting leadership of key business partners
Capable of communicating updates to senior management, analyzing financial results, and distilling/synthesizing key issues in the course of advancing existing management reporting
Coordinate with Operations and Accounting to discreetly and accurately track financial results in order to drive improved management reporting
Team closely with Functional leads by executing management reporting, advising in accounting and compliance, and ensuring operational initiatives are in alignment with each other Requirements - Finance or Business BA/BS degree or one in a related field required
Expert Microsoft Excel skills required
Able to think critically and operate effectively with management
Prior experience in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
Proven knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
Ability to work cross functionally and influence appropriately
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Deep understanding of Analyze Variance
Actual Variance Analysis experience preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of Gross Margin Analysis
Prior experience with process reengineering and optimization
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
