Description
Robert Half is partnering with a growing Non-Profit in the Denver area on a Senior Accountant role. This role will report to the Controller of the company and has a lot of opportunity for advancement. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the below:
Perform a variety of complex accounting duties in the verification, maintenance, reconciliation, and reporting of specialized accounting records. Establishes and maintains related policies and procedures; provides support to program personnel; and coordinates financial management functions to assure financial compliance.
• Performs complex accounting duties in the preparation of financial documents, records, and reports.
• Examines accounting data for accuracy, appropriateness, and documentation.
• Assists in monthly close activities, the year-end closing process and annual audit preparation.
• Reviews and reconciles cash and account balances; Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts.

Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Accounting
3+ years of solid reconciliation experience
3+ years of budget analysis, actual to budget
Non-Profit experience preferred but not mandatory
