Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team situated in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be playing a key role in managing and supporting the month-end close process, financial accounting, and treasury accounting functions. This role is integral to ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and all month-end tasks are completed in alignment with corporate timelines.

• Prepare and review general ledger entries and perform complex account reconciliations for key accounts, including revenue, cost of goods sold, and operational expenses.

• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries from auditors.

• Manage daily cash operations and ensure proper accounting of cash flows, investments, and financing activities.

• Monitor foreign exchange transactions and hedge accounting in alignment with the company's risk management policies.

• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, tax policies, and corporate governance standards.

• Assist in regulatory reporting, including SEC filings, if applicable, and ensure compliance with industry-specific reporting standards.

• Continuously evaluate current accounting processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial systems and ensure data integrity.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and industry-specific guidelines.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data. Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in an accounting role

• Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP systems is preferred

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Experience within the Oil & Gas industry is preferred.

• Public Accounting foundation is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
