Robert Half Sr. FPA Analyst / Manager in DENVER, Colorado
If you want to do long-term contract / contract work with one of our clients in the Marketing/PR industry, this Senior Financial Analyst position will be of interest to you. This Senior Financial Analyst position is located in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate for this position can be our client's primary point of contact for all financial issues, including project spending, planning, forecasting and annual budgeting. If you can perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements, and provide decision-making support for future company investments, you might be a good fit for this Senior Financial Analyst consultant role.
Collaborate with Functional leads to execute management reporting, accounting and compliance advisement, and coordinate alignment of operational initiatives
Develop repeatable business, operational and financial processes widely understood by all necessary teams
Drive improved management reporting - work with Operations and Accounting to more discreetly and accurately track financial results
Drive existing management reporting - analyze financial results, distill and synthesize issues, communicate key messages to senior management
Optimize business performance by identifying and executing financial analysis
Manage advantageous relationships with Finance/Accounting leadership of integral business partners
Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating critical updates to senior leadership
Assist in other ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests
Requirements - High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
A strong ability to work with office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
BA/BS degree in Finance, Business or related field
Demonstrated skills in process reengineering and optimization
Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
Command of Cash Flow Forecasts
Solid understanding of cash forecasting
Deep understanding of Profit Loss
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Able to work across teams and gain consensus of a group of individuals
Proven knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
Able to think critically and operate effectively with management
