Description

We are looking for a diligent Part-time Accounting Clerk to join our team in Denver, Colorado. The primary function of this role is to provide support to our Customer Experience team by preparing and maintaining accurate payroll calculations and records for our customers. This is a contract employment opportunity that involves tasks such as analyzing and applying employer leave pay policies, reconciling payments, and collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized and personalized payroll plans for our customers' payroll teams

• Analyze and apply various employer leave pay policies within the payroll plan

• Compare payroll plans and leave benefit estimates with actual pay to reconcile over/under payments

• Ensure tasks are performed promptly, accurately, and with attention to customers’ payroll deadlines

• Calculate correct personalized payroll plans on the dashboard

• Collaborate comfortably with internal teams through various channels such as instant message, email, or video chat

• Handle confidential information appropriately and act with discretion

• Adapt to feedback and implement changes in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

• Use Excel functions, formulas, and cell formatting proficiently to maintain and analyze data

• Manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to deadlines

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge and experience in payroll processes.

• Experience with account reconciliations.

• Understanding of general accounting principles.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Proven problem-solving skills.
