Description
Robert Half is partnering with a small CPA firm. The CPA firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. This position is critical to the firm's success and offers the opportunity for career growth, with the eventual goal of transitioning into a leadership role and taking over the firm. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax services to our diverse client base, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and offering strategic tax planning advice. Other duties will include:
Manage Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact for tax-related matters. Understand their unique tax needs and provide personalized guidance and solutions.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and review complex tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and proactively identify strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients
This role is 100% in office.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or CPA qualification is highly desirable.
Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a Tax Accountant, preferably in a public accounting firm or tax consultancy.
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
