Law Firm Collections Manager

Our client, an AM Law 100 law firm located in Denver is seeking a Client Receivables/Collections Manager.This position includes, but is not limited to, analyzing Client account receivable and work in progress profiles, working closely with Billing Attorneys, reaching out to Client contacts to ensure timely payments of outstanding invoices regarding Client payment trends, risks, and challenges.

The Collections Manager will maintain constant communication/interaction with Clients and Billing Attorneys and will provide periodic update information to Billing Attorneys regarding the status of their Client inventory positions. The Collections Manager will deliver a high level of service to ensure Attorney and Client satisfaction while exercising appropriate discretion and independent judgment in the execution of assigned duties

Maintain accuracy and efficiency when working with a high volume of assigned Billing Attorneys and Clients. Bachelor's degree preferred and 5 or more years of related experience in law firm collections and/or business to business collections.

Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail and quality

Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills

The Collections Manager should be highly motivated with ability to drive results and work on multiple projects with minimal supervision. Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Experience with Thompson Reuters 3E is a plus. Prior AmLaw 100 law firm experience is highly preferred. The firm offers excellent pay and very competitive benefits. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Time & Billing Clerk or in a related role.

• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites.

• Strong understanding of Accounting and Billing Functions.

• Experience with Collection Processes.

• Excellent Customer Service skills.

• Knowledge of Bill Pay and Bill Payment procedures.

• Familiarity with Billing, Billing Collection, and use of Billing software.

• Experience with Billing Software for Attorneys is a plus.

• Ability to prepare and manage Billing Statements.

• Experience with Billing System, Computerized Billing, and Electronic Billing.

• Knowledge of Legal Billing procedures.

• Experience in Cash Collections is essential.
