Robert Half is currently seeking a qualified individual for a temporary Accounting Assistant to assist our client for year end support. In this role, you will be processing numerical data to ensure the completion and accuracy of financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Organize, log, and analyze numerical and financial data to build and manage financial records through the use of journals, ledgers, or computers.

• Prepare, compute and dispatch financial documents including bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements in compliance with established protocols.

• Utilize specialized accounting software for debiting, crediting, and totaling accounts on computer databases and spreadsheets.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication with a strong focus on detail and critical thinking capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.

• Understanding of federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting.

• Previous exposure to computer applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other accounting software.
