Description
If you're an experienced Bookkeeper with a knack for accuracy, Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for you to check out! This role is ideal for a self-directed and detail-oriented professional with considerable experience in quality control of financial transactions and reporting. The Full-Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for financial record keeping, performing financial procedures, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Responsibilities:
Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments.
Execute activities related to accounts receivable including invoicing, receiving, and depositing payments.
Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash accounts.
Coordinate and resolve various issues with bank representatives.
Collaborate with tax accountants to ensure timely and accurate tax preparation.
Provide financial information for the organization’s audit activities.
Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field is preferred but not required.
3+ years of proven experience as a full-charge bookkeeper.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
Detail-oriented and able to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent time management skills, ability to meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
