Job Overview:
As a Senior Software Engineer/Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications with a focus on DTCC (Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation) systems and .NET technologies. This position is particularly critical for candidates with a strong background in life and annuity insurance, as you will be instrumental in integrating solutions with industry-specific processes and regulatory requirements. You will be part of a dynamic team, collaborating with other developers, architects, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet clients' needs and drive the company's success.
Requirements
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven track record of at least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer/Developer, with a focus on DTCC systems and .NET technologies.
Strong expertise in DTCC platforms and protocols, such as CTM, CTMS, and Alert, and their integration with applications.
Extensive experience with C#, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET for building scalable and high-performance applications.
In-depth knowledge of web services, APIs, and service-oriented architectures.
Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL, with experience in designing and optimizing database schema and queries.
Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A background in life and annuity insurance is crucial to this role.
