Description

We are seeking a Paralegal to join a growing client in Detroit, Michigan. The Paralegal should have litigation experience within insurance defense, personal injury and/or no-fault.

Responsibilities:

• Handle various aspects of litigation, including court appearances, depositions, and trials.

• Assist in personal injury cases, understanding the nuances and complexities involved.

• Participate in the preparation of PIP (Personal Injury Protection) cases.

• Contribute to insurance defense cases, implementing strategies, and conducting research.

• Handle no-fault cases, ensuring all legal procedures are correctly followed.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and efficient workflow.

• Conduct and analyze legal research to support case preparation.

• Assist in the preparation of legal documents and reports.

• Ensure all customer inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.

Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 1 year of experience in a paralegal role or similar position.

• Proficient in Insurance Defense and Insurance Defense Litigation.

• Familiarity with Personal Injury Defense, Personal Injury Law, and Personal Injury Litigation is required.

• Working knowledge of No-fault laws and procedures.

• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
