Description

We're looking for practical Accounting Manager candidates with a knack for establishing and regulating an organization's accounting and finance procedures. You will succeed in this Accounting Manager position with a burgeoning, innovative Real Estate & Property company if you can take charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Your responsibilities in this role

  • Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

  • Lead and supervise the accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure close deadlines are met

  • Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

  • Periodically review and inspect the balance sheets and income statement accounts of Senior Accountants

  • Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

  • Play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

  • Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies

    Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

  • Reliable technology and analytical abilities

  • Microsoft Excel experience desired

  • Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

  • Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

  • CPA/MBA preferred

  • Recent relevant financial experience
