Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Discovery Bay, California. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the industry of finance and accounting. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to accounts payable, including data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise records of customer credit
• Handle invoice processing after they have been coded and approved
• Assist in potential upgrades to the ERP system in the future
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Ensure checks are run in a timely and efficient manner
• Assist with coding invoices in the future
• Collaborate closely with the team to ensure smooth operations
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall team success
• Assist in training new team members when necessary Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in Check Runs
• Familiarity with Coding Invoices
• Proven ability in Data Entry
• Experience in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven problem-solving skills.
