Description We are in search of a skilled Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our organization in the telecommunications industry. Based in Dorchester, Massachusetts, this position involves managing and overseeing project planning activities for projects of medium to high business complexity. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide direction for a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management.

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications.

• Oversee end-to-end project management activities such as project reporting, issue/risk identification and tracking, and scope management.

• Develop project plans from high level to technical details, estimating milestones and activities.

• Manage infrastructure projects involving aspects such as DR Datacenters, Private Cloud, Network, etc.

• Understand SLDC and product lifecycle for managing software projects.

• Communicate technical decisions/issues effectively to various stakeholders.

• Leverage strong organization skills to document, log, and track actions and issues.

• Utilize risk management skills to identify risks in time and propose strategies, workarounds, and risk mitigation actions proactively.

• Apply ITIL environment knowledge in areas such as change management, incident management, and service management. Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in Project Management, Program Management and IT Operations.

• Proven ability to manage budgets and understand budget processes.

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to liaise with stakeholders and C-suite executives.

• Experience in project planning, setting milestones, and managing projects end-to-end.

• Knowledge of ITIL Processes and ability to handle project documentation.

• Familiarity with risk management and change management methodologies.

• Ability to work onsite and manage relationships with various interfaces.

• Proficiency in using 'About Time' software or similar project management tools.

• Experience in managing data center operations.

• PMP certification is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Capability to develop risk mitigation strategies.

• Understanding of technical specifications related to projects.

• Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

• Familiarity with program management principles and methodologies.

• Proven track record of working on large scale projects involving multiple teams.

• Excellent reporting skills, with the ability to create and present detailed project reports. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
