Rapidly growing firm in the western suburbs has an immediate need for a Chief of Staff. We are looking for a Chief of Staff for the CEO and Vice President of Sales. As Chief of Staff, you will work closely with the CEO and Sales VP and their teams to assist in driving the rhythm of the business by gathering, analyzing and reporting data, thinking holistically and strategically about process, policy and procedural needs, ensuring data integrity, working as a liaison with vendors and department heads and, in the end, clear the path to enable effective Sales execution. Within this role, you will be focused on continuous operational and business improvement and productivity through the means of your expertise to identify issues that impede group success. You will streamline time management, information, and decision processes. You will be the trusted advisor. Your goal is to enable leadership to operate at a higher level of performance and make a sizable impact in a high growth business. Keep CEO and VP of Sales aware of strategically critical issues/changes. Maintain and improve scorecards and other reports that measure progress toward corporate and departmental level goals and objectives. Predict sales outcomes based on data gathered and knowledge of plans. Enable budget projections by reviewing and analyzing trends and participate in meetings with Account Executives. Establish and maintain effective relationships with peers, all levels of management, employees, and internal/external customers Your daily routine includes interaction with various executive level internal clients across the lines of businesses. Act as a liaison, advocate and problem solver. Advise VP Sales and CEO of pertinent issues requiring immediate attention, assisting in the delegation and prioritization of tasks as necessary. Oversight of internal and vendor related new initiatives. Act as a subject matter expert for policies and procedures. Gatekeeper for the CEO and VP of Sales calendar considering goal, objectives, organizational and cross-group priorities, schedules and commitments. Proactively Manage day to day priorities in such a way that the executive is able to complete their obligations in an organized, efficient way. Coordinate internal and external meetings including but not limited to team meetings, full staff meetings, all hands meetings, off- site meetings, one-on-one meetings, etc. Prepare draft budgets and manage budgets, and expense reports. Support the VP Sales and CEO in preparing presentations for external and internal audiences such as staff, vendors, senior team and all Hands meetings etc. For immediate consideration, please apply directly to this posting. A successful candidate will have 5 plus years experiencing working with C Suite and with sales organization. Must be driven, curious, and deeply passionate about data gathering, analysis, and strategy. You will be a strategic partner to management helping to verify, drive efficiency and maximize productivity. This is a demanding role that requires a solid business acumen, strong opinion, and priority management. Prefer experience in the technology space/must have high level aptitude for technology. Attention to detail, methodical and strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking/analytical skills. Logical, data driven problem solver and strategically adept; Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze and interpret financial and statistical data. Have a solid background in effective communication of logical thought processes and information- simply and concisely in person and in writing. Self-starter with a natural energy level accompanied by an ever-positive, get-it-done attitude. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
