Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Downers Grove, Illinois
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Downers Grove, Illinois. The successful candidate will join our team, providing a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our IT systems. This role involves a wide range of tasks, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and leading technical projects.
Responsibilities:
• Provide user support and issue resolution through various channels such as phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems
• Handle incident management by logging, tracking, and communicating service request statuses to users
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, peripheral devices, and software applications
• Manage user accounts in a hybrid Active Directory environment, assisting users with password resets and account unlocks
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and collaborate with the IT team to identify potential security incidents
• Establish and maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses
• Conduct periodic audits to verify the accuracy of inventory and track asset lifecycles
• Assist in developing and maintaining a knowledge base of common issues and their resolutions
• Act as the project lead for telecommunication, audio/visual, handheld terminal, and printer deployment projects
• Research, recommend, and maintain audio/visual solutions. Requirements • Proficiency in Android Development
• Experience with Cisco Technologies
• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies
• Knowledge of Computer Hardware
• Proficiency in Dell Technologies
• Expertise in Active Directory
• Experience with Apple Devices
• Familiarity with Backup Technologies
• Proficiency in Configuration Management
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Enterprise
• Cisco CCNA Certification
• Knowledge of CCNA Technologies
