Primary job functions consist of conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. This Financial Analyst role, which is located in the Downey area, California, is a full-time employment opportunity. Responsibilities

  • Drive P& L forecasting and Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis

  • Understand and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

  • Develop monthly reports to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required

  • Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources

  • Produce and manage forecasting reports

  • Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly and quarterly financial close process

  • Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are properly execute

  • Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives on creating financial models and insights on topics

  • This position requires a flexible individual who is adept at managing expectations and comfortable with handling large amounts of information

    Requirements

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field required

  • 5+ years of experience in Financial planning & analysis and problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable in business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role

  • Experience working in an organization with multiple and diverse revenue streams a must

  • Spreadsheet and ERP system experience required; Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools experience a plus

  • Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

  • Proven knowledge of Complex Financial Models

  • Financial Projections experience preferred

  • Deep understanding of budget forecasting
