Robert Half Accounting Analyst in Dublin, Ohio

Description We are looking for an Accounting Analyst in the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry, based in Dublin, Ohio. This role involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. The successful candidate will also be involved in monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications and ensure their efficient processing.

• Maintain precise records of customer credit.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary action to collect overdue payments.

• Prepare and reconcile upload files to transfer refunds data into the accounting system.

• Ensure all checks are processed and provide check registers to the cash posting team.

• Invoice clients for refunds on a weekly or monthly basis.

• Complete monthly bank account reconciliations.

• Research and process returned checks accordingly.

• Void checks and create credit memos when necessary.

• Provide backup support for team members as needed, particularly in relation to client billing or general accounts payable.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Auditing Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Experience with ERP Solutions

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Auditing skills

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team

• High attention to detail

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred but not required

• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance setting, preferred but not required
