Job Title: Collections Specialist
Compensation: $20+ hourly
Job Description: To succeed in this Collections Specialist position, is responsible for effectively managing Accounts Receivable through the proper evaluation of the debtor risk and the timely resolution of purchased accounts. You will report to the Accounting Manager. This is a contract role with potential for full-time placement in the Columbus, OH area. Robert Half s seeking a Collections Specialist to become an integral part of the team at an established successful company.

2+ years of prior B2B collections experience
Expertise in collecting payment from customers and accurately recording transaction
Must be courteous, professional, and direct when dealing with past –due customers
Must be able to receive and follow instructions given by management
A positive attitude, adaptability, willingness to learn & grow, and an adventurous mindset
Contacts customers and establishes reason for past due account situation
Researches and analyzes accounts, evaluates past resolution efforts
Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
