Description

Robert Half Technology is looking for Product Support candidate's who have call center experience ideally in a technical support role. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity for top performers! Our client is located in the Dubuque area, and is looking to build out their team for support. In this role you will be working with end users from the academic or higher learning institutions. This is a Tier 1 support role. There is No Part Time available. Please apply ASAP, client is doing interviews for qualified candidates immediately.

What you get to do every single day

  • Answer phone calls, and chats to the call center regarding digital products.

  • Process email requests and issues delivered to the call center

  • Own and manage case including communication and resolution to customer using call ticketing system

  • Research and escalate issues when necessary to Tier 2 support

  • Responsible for handling all customer inquiries and questions that come into the support center

  • Provide excellent customer service at all times

  • Follow up to customer inquiries by taking specific action in a timely manner

  • Troubleshoot software and system problems

  • Exercise retention efforts when appropriate

  • Work with confidential customer information

  • Problem solve and provide guidance to help customers resolve issues

  • Enter data from customers into various software programs

  • Thrives as a team player in a fast-paced, high-energy, change-oriented environment

  • Participates in additional training courses

Requirements

  • Background in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

  • Knowledge of Previous Call Center

  • Adeptness in Firefox

  • General familiarity with Safari

  • Experience with MS Outlook

  • Ticketing System experience

  • Basic Troubleshooting experience

  • Strong familiarity with Prior Call Center

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Internet Explorer

  • Understanding of basic networking concepts

  • Experience in user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment

  • Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively

  • Prior experience with IT support ticketing systems
