This position is a great opportunity for a Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst with effective communication skills. This job is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team. In this position, you will perform financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Additional daily functions will include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. What you get to do every day:
Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources
Deliver valuable foresight and decision support by enabling effective Business Intelligence (BI)
Produce and manage forecasting reports
Possess the know-how and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, strategic resource allocation and prioritization, and event tracking and execution
Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required
An ideal candidate should be highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations
Work with the Accounting team on monthly and quarterly financial close processes
Recognize potential risks and opportunities while analyzing performance to date
Work closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
Support Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P& L forecasting
Requirements
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related field of study required
Masters and additional certification (CPA or CFA) highly preferred
Firm understanding of problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Strong familiarity with Oracle
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
