My client, a global and acquisitions oriented company in Duluth, is searching for a Manager, Financial Reporting and Consolidations to join their team for an immediate, direct-hire opportunity. The Manager, Financial Reporting and Consolidations will be an integral part of the Consolidations and Reporting team. The Manager, Financial Reporting and Consolidations will support the finance team, review all company deliverables ensuring consistency and accuracy, resolve issues and questions, and work with the Chief Financial Officer on ad hoc projects as needed. What You'll Get To Do Every Day:
Manage the preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements.
Ensure reports, filings, and documentation comply with IFRS reporting guidelines, company regulations, and professional standards.
Manage the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy.
Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls.
Coordinate, develop, and update written policies and procedures for the financial reporting process.
Maintain and strengthen financial reporting internal controls.
Research and resolve accounting issues to ensure IFRS compliance.
Assist with reconciliation of financial reporting system to accounting system.
Publish various internal reporting packages to all stakeholders by the required dates.
Perform ad-hoc reporting as necessary, including in-depth reviews of financial statement accounts by analyzing balance changes against trends, researching contra amounts and ensuring proper IFRS accounting procedures are applied.
Conduct research and publish monthly reports on key markets, economic indicators and factors, competitors and customers to support Management’s analysis of the current and future state of the business.
Assist with analysis for external and internal auditors.
Support the Preparation of footnotes for financial statements.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related industry required
Masters degree or post graduate study and CPA strongly desired
10+ years of financial reporting & consolidation experience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Hyperion, and SAGE is ideal.
IFRS knowledge required.
Hands-on experience with preparation of financial statements and Consolidation
