PRICING DIRECTOR - Well-Known Consumer Products Company in Duluth

My client, a well-known and respected consumer products company in Duluth, GA, is searching for a Pricing Director to join their team for an immediate, direct-hire opportunity. The Pricing Director will play a pivotal role in developing, refining, and analyzing pricing strategies to drive optimal decision-making within the organization. This role involves establishing clear price targets, refining discounting approaches, and leading pricing analysis to enhance business performance.

Position Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Develop and set price strategies and targets for new accounts, providing support to account managers to ensure accurate pricing for new customers.

  • Manage and enhance a structured discounting approach while establishing clear parameters.

  • Conduct thorough analysis to guide annual price increase strategies effectively.

  • Lead pricing analysis initiatives, interpret implications for the business, and disseminate findings across the organization.

  • Cultivate and champion a culture of price testing and learning methodologies.

  • Define, develop, and implement comprehensive pricing toolkits and methodologies.

  • Assist in executing pricing processes and adapting approaches to accommodate industry dynamics.

  • Stay abreast of key pricing trends and opportunities, updating perspectives accordingly.

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop talent within the pricing team.

  • Proficiency in predictive analytics and modeling techniques.

  • Strategic pricing analysis expertise.

  • Understanding of product strategy and development principles.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields; MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in pricing, with quantitative marketing experience preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

  • Proven management experience in a complex organizational setup, demonstrating a track record of delivering positive results.

  • Ability to understand and influence field and sales organizations effectively.

  • Demonstrated capability to translate pricing theories and strategies into robust business plans.
