Description We are in the search for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the manufacturing industry, situated in DUNCAN, South Carolina. This role offers a contract-to-hire employment opportunity and involves key responsibilities in customer service, administrative assistance, data entry, and handling inbound calls.
Responsibilities:
• Handle inbound calls from customers efficiently and professionally.
• Assist customers in ordering parts and resolve any inquiries or issues they may have.
• Maintain responsibility for a specific region, ensuring all customer needs within this area are addressed.
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy.
• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Use your administrative assistance skills to maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
• Employ your data entry skills to ensure all customer information is correctly recorded and updated.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times, striving to exceed customer expectations. Requirements • Proven experience in the field of Administrative Assistance
• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in answering inbound calls and managing customer inquiries in a professional manner
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain order in a fast-paced work environment
• Familiarity with standard office equipment and software, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaborative skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in Business Administration would be considered an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
