Robert Half Payroll Specialist in Duncan, South Carolina

Description

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in the greater Greenville,SC area. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing the payroll process for employees across multiple states, processing international payroll, and utilizing ADP payroll software for efficient and accurate payroll processing. Additional responsibilities include HR support and maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute the end-to-end payroll process for employees across multiple states, ensuring compliance with federal and state payroll laws, regulations, and company policies.

• Process payroll for employees in Mexico and Canada, staying updated with local regulations and compliance requirements.

• Utilize ADP payroll software for efficient and accurate payroll processing, and leverage ADP reporting tools to generate customized reports for analysis.

• Act as a support resource for the Human Resources department, assisting in HR-related tasks such as onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining employee records.

• Generate and analyze payroll reports for management review.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, ensuring compliance with recordkeeping requirements.

• Leverage your experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for payroll-related tasks and reporting.

• Show proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.

• Display strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Foster excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration within the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in ADP Payroll software

• Experience in Canadian Payroll processing

• Ability to process bi-weekly and weekly payroll

• Knowledge of multi-state payroll and multistate payroll procedures

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
