Description
This role handles financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for working in fast-paced environments are musts. This position comes with solid compensation, benefits, and advancement opportunities.
What you get to do every day
Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

Requirements
Solid understanding of month end closings
Command of journal entries
Fixed assets experience a plus
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
3+ years of overall general accounting experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
