Job Description:
We're seeking a highly detail-oriented and professional individual with extensive experience in healthcare services pricing models and healthcare operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting sourcing events, leading commercial terms negotiations with vendors, and preparing various contract documents such as MSA, SaaS, and SOWs. Part of your role includes coordinating vendor onboarding, maintaining accurate reports of in-process work, and developing new procedures and recommendations for process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct sourcing events, manage vendor relations, and lead internal and external communications
Lead commercial negotiations with vendors, prepare various contract documents, and evaluate contract terms and conditions
Coordinate vendor onboarding with various departments such as security, IT, finance, and legal
Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports of in-process work
Foster positive working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendor personnel
Develop and implement new procedures, training initiatives, and recommendations for improvements
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or an advanced degree as required, if not, 7 years of experience in a related field
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
Prior Healthcare Payor experience is a must
Familiarity with standard office tools like Microsoft Office and Workday
Proficiency using a contracting tool such as Cobblestone is beneficial
Familiarity with different contract types including MSAs, SaaS, SOWs and experience drafting amendments to these contracts is essential
Excellent communication skills for pricing negotiations and status reporting on projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with Medicare administration and transitioning of administrative Medicare plans
Experience working with healthcare specific services vendors such as care management coordinators, supplemental benefits providers, and payment integrity vendors.
Position is fully remote. Candidate must sit in EST/CST time zone.
