Description
We are providing an opportunity for a Paralegal to work in the construction/contractor industry, located in Eagan, Minnesota. This role will involve managing all corporate and contracts for the enterprise, contract drafting and review, and coordinating workflows. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain contracts for the enterprise.
• Draft and review contracts, ensuring all legal requirements and company policies are met.
• Utilize Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, and Management System for contract management and drafting.
• Handle contract inquiries, providing information and helping with process.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and tracking.
• Manage billing functions, calendar management, and claim administration using appropriate tools and software.
• Handle complaints professionally, ensuring the best outcome for both the company and the customer.
• Coordinate workflows, ensuring smooth running of operations.
• Act as the first point of contact for company stakeholders who have questions.
• Manage commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
Requirements • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Case Management Software and Management System
• Experience in using LexisNexis for legal research
• Ability to handle billing functions in a legal setting
• Capable of drafting briefs and other legal documents
• Experience in managing calendars and coordinating meetings
• Familiarity with claim administration procedures
• Proficient in handling complaints and resolving disputes
• Experience in dealing with commercial contracts in a construction or contractor setting
