Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer / Specialist with a local CPA firm. This role is on-site and involves handling detailed tax-related tasks in a highly organized manner. The ideal person will be able to work full-time hours during the busy tax season but there is flexibility for part-time work depending on the individuals experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and prepare complex tax returns.

• Prepare and manage individual, corporation and partnership tax returns effectively.

• Ensure accuracy and compliance when processing returns.

• Maintain updated records of all tax-related activities.

• Resolve any tax-related inquiries from clients.

Monday - Friday

**Over time hours and pay will be approved if person is willing to work over 40 hours.

Requirements

• Experience with both individual and business returns is ideal

•Familiarity with Drake, UltraTax or Thomson Reuters software

•Canidate must maintain confidentiality and professional at all times.
