Key responsibilities:
Post manual and electronic patient/insurance payments and denials daily
Reconcile daily
Identify root cause to potential credit balances and variances
Communicate payment status to Agencies
Complete weekly EFT/ERA Reconciliation
Research and resolve unapplied accounts
Requirements - Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Solid understanding of Medical Payment Poster
Previous experience with a practice management system preferred
A real talent for the explanation of benefits (EOBs)
Minimum of 1+ years payment posting or medical billing experience
High School diploma or equivalent required
