Robert Half Staff Accountant in East Falmouth, Massachusetts
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in East Falmouth, Massachusetts. Working within the biotech industry, this role will involve dealing with accounts payable and accounts receivable, maintaining the general ledger, conducting bank reconciliations, and managing financial records.
Responsibilities:
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
• Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basis
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Organize and update financial records to keep them up-to-date
• Work with Great Plains Dynamics and NetSuite for various accounting tasks
• Conduct month end close procedures and prepare journal entries
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions for any discrepancies. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment scheduling
• Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoice creation, customer billing, and debt collection
• Demonstrated ability in performing Bank Reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of discrepancies
• Proficient in maintaining and updating the General Ledger, including recording financial transactions and verifying accuracy
• Experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries to record business transactions
• Ability to perform Month End Close procedures, including preparing financial statements and reports
• Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting and financial management tasks
• Experience in using Great Plains Dynamics for accounting and financial operations
