Bookkeeper

Direct-Hire/Permanent position

Robert Half has partnered with a construction company based in the East Hartford area in their search of a construction accounting professional to join their team, reporting to the Controller. This position will handle AP, AR, Project job costing, certified payroll, prevailing wages, and AIA Billing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

• Certified payroll and AIA billing

• Prevailing wages and lien waivers and liaise with subcontractors.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience within the construction industry.

• Payroll experience

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and Sage software.

Our clients offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $65,000, in addition to healthcare insurance, 401k match, and paid time off.
