Robert Half Project Manager in East Hartford, Connecticut

Description We are in search of a Project Coordinator to join our team in East Hartford, Connecticut. This role is crucial in the IT industry, where you are expected to manage and direct IT project implementation from start to finish, manage documentation records, handle monthly invoicing, and manage product intake for coordination and installation for customers. This role also requires defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage IT project implementation from beginning to end for managed services and enterprise clients.

• Manage documentation records for customer engagements, including Statements of Work, Managed Services Provider Agreements, and Change Orders.

• Handle monthly invoicing for managed services clients.

• Manage product intake for coordination and installation for customers.

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans.

• Develop full-scale project plans and track timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools.

• Utilize skills in Atlassian Jira, Database, EO/IR systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, About Time, Budget Processes, Communication, Construction, Customer Service, and IT project management.

• Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and meets all specified deadlines.

• Maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure all are kept informed on project progress. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a project coordination role

• Proficient in Atlassian Jira, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook

• Familiarity with database management and EO/IR systems

• Experience with 'About Time' time management software is a plus

• Knowledge of budget processes within a project management context

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Experience in the construction industry is beneficial

• Familiarity with IT project management methodologies and practices

• Ability to work in a team and coordinate project tasks effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
