Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in East Moline, Illinois

As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee various financial tasks, including invoicing, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing existing contractual agreements, optimizing costs, and ensuring compliance with financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate invoices, manage accounts receivable, and reconcile payments

  • Handle accounts payable processes, including check runs

  • Collaborate with customers to obtain purchase orders and streamline invoicing processes

  • Monitor and manage credit card reconciliations

  • Take ownership of existing contractual agreements, ensuring cost optimization

  • Assist with employee onboarding and HR tasks

  • Participate in meetings with health insurance providers and explore additional employee benefits

In the first 3 to 6 months, you will familiarize yourself with customer invoicing processes, understand the purchase order workflow, and gain insights into all facets of the business. By the end of your first year, you will seamlessly handle all responsibilities and actively contribute to process improvements.

  • Prior experience in accounting or financial management

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
