Robert Half Entry-Level Treasury Analyst in East Rutherford, New Jersey

Description

Robert Half is seeking an Entry-Level Treasury Analyst for a long-term contract with a global retail organization in East Rutherford, NJ. This position will be available on a hybrid basis offering 2 remote days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of global cash management.

• Serve as the main point of contact for all internal departments, including Payroll, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.

• Assist in the opening and closing of retail stores, order deposit slips, reconcile change orders, and coordinate with armored couriers for timely pickups of store deposits.

• Document and maintain treasury processes to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Conduct monthly bank account analysis and reconciliation, working with Retail and Loss Prevention to resolve discrepancies.

• Collaborate with partner banks to update account signers and ensure all treasury services function correctly.

• Manage and maintain global bank account databases and ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

• Participate in month-end and quarter-end financial reporting processes.

• Prepare routine and ad hoc financial analyses, contributing to treasury-related projects as needed.

• Oversee maintenance of treasury functionality within SAP, including tracking and maintaining treasury requirements, executing treasury payments, and ensuring successful loading of scheduled transmissions.

Requirements

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Strong internship experience in accounting, finance, or treasury required

• Prior experience in SAP preferred

• Experience with HLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Table functions in Excel required

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Should be detail-oriented and highly organized

• Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting is preferred

• Must have a solid understanding of financial markets and investment strategies

• Knowledge of retail industry, particularly in clothes and accessories, is a plus.
