Robert Half Inventory Analyst in EAST STROUDSBURG, Pennsylvania
Description
Our client, an established manufacturing company in the East Stroudsburg area, has an immediate need for an Inventory Control Analyst. The responsibilities include analyzing & managing inventory items; controlling day-to-day inventory/planning operations; train and maintain company systems data base; the ability to implement effective inventory control protocols.
Responsibilities for Inventory Control Analyst:
Responsible for managing the Inventory requirements for all processes within the company
Oversee the company Inventory Cycle count & Adjustment Programs
Determine & report on idle stock and obsolete items
Aide in implementation /monitoring and controlling of component consignment inventory
Analyze documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications
Investigate inventory issues and/or discrepancies, analyze root causes and provide solutions
Back up to Inventory Control Manager & Planning roles
Oversee to lead & develop the Inventory Control Coordinator team
Collaborate & work with solution integrators, IT team, business process owners to plan, create, conduct training, implement, and test system implementations and future system/process enhancements in our production planning/inventory systems structure
Develop expertise in relevant business area and analyze to ensure that the system applications are to support business improvements and implementing best practices by fully utilizing ERP system capabilities in the current and future
Plant expert on Point of use system for company computer systems and database/dashboards
Develop, analyze, and document requirements for cross functional solutions
Create ERP/Database searches and reports as necessary and train and share with others as needed
Prepare and present reports, charts, and tables detailing these inventory factors to company stakeholders to help inform inventory and production planning strategy decisions
Develop positive relationships with co-collaborators involved in downstream technical processes
Continue education to improve your skill set and increase your knowledge base
Requirements
Strong analytical skills
Thrive in fast-paced ambiguous environment and demonstrate acute attention to detail
Basic understanding in fundamental database design and development. Ability to gather data from multiple sources and manipulate the data for analysis
Must be able to execute training with computer software, especially databases and Microsoft spreadsheets
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical documents, instructions or reports
Supervisory/Leadership Skills
Certificate and/or experience within Inventory Management and/or Production Planning/ Supply Chain Management and Microsoft Data Programs
