This long-term contract / temporary to hire Billing Clerk opportunity is with an organization in the Service industry and is based in the East Syracuse, New York area. In this Billing Clerk position, the selected candidate will be reviewing bills and entering data into spreadsheets and accounting software. Responsibilities
Form financial controls and procedures
Work closely with other functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency
Obtain missing or correct data when necessary, after evaluating billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness
Evaluate, process, and review bills or invoices for services rendered Requirements - Excellent data entry skills
Skilled in spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in accounting or finance- Billing experience desired
