Robert Half Customer Account Specialist in East Syracuse, New York

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Account Specialist in the service industry, located in East Syracuse, New York. In this role, you will be handling customer accounts, processing applications, providing customer service, and ensuring the accuracy of customer records.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers/accounts, ensuring their expectations and requirements are met

• Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain precise customer credit records

• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors as necessary to resolve customer issues

• Provide timely and accurate project tracking

• Verify quotes with the sales team before submitting them to customers

• Regularly provide reports, analysis, and improvement measures on ongoing and completed projects

• Use various computer programs and CRM tools to assist customers and manage accounts

• Handle answering inbound calls and provide customer service as needed

• Carry out all responsibilities ethically and professionally. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service and account management.

• Strong computer skills including proficiency in CRM software and other computer programs.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services and Avaya CMS.

• Experience with Epic Software and About Time software is desired.

• Demonstrated ability to assist customers, handle billing functions, and perform benefit functions.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone, as the role requires answering inbound calls.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

• Must have a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.

• Ability to solve problems and address customer concerns in a professional and efficient manner.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently.

• Must be able to adapt to new technology and changes in the service industry.

• Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
