Nick Corieri with Robert Half is looking for a Staff Accountant to join a small CPA firm with a great culture. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate of Accounting or someone with a couple of years experience looking to transition to public accounting. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow and learn within a small team, with minimal overtime required during our busy season.

Responsibilities:

• Handle bookkeeping and account reconciliation tasks efficiently

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes

• Utilize QuickBooks for managing and processing financial transactions

• Assist with income tax preparation to ensure compliance with tax laws

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial standards and regulations

• Continually update skills and knowledge in the accounting field to support continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of one year of experience in a Staff Accountant role or recently graduated with a 4-year Accounting degree

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable

• Proficient in Tax Preparation and Income Tax Preparation

• Experience in Bookkeeping is essential
