Description We are offering a role in the agricultural industry based in Eaton, Colorado, United States. The position is for a Staff Accountant, who will primarily be tasked with handling accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data

• Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basis

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks and operations

• Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance and accuracy

• Monitor and track customer credit accounts and initiate action for delinquent payments

• Process customer credit applications efficiently and maintain accurate records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Requirements • Applicant must have a solid understanding of the agriculture industry.

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is requisite.

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is necessary.

• Familiarity with General Ledger management is required.

• Ability to create and manage Journal Entries is essential.

• Experience in Month End Close processes is needed.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desired.

• Experience in conducting financial audits is advantageous.
