Robert Half Technical Assistant in Eatontown, New Jersey

Description

We are seeking a Technical Assistant to join our team in the insurance industry based in Monmouth County, New Jersey. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and will be instrumental in providing underwriters with the necessary information to make sound underwriting decisions. The Technical Assistant will also provide support within established workflow standards and deliver all related support activities in a manner consistent with our business unit's customer service focus.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the underwriter in renewal and new business activities to support underwriting decisions, aligning with Division or Department growth and retention goals

• Work in partnership with the underwriter to establish support needs, specifically identifying and gathering relevant account information for new and renewal business

• Prepare underwriting and pricing exhibits including Account Summaries, Loss Runs, Internet Research, and Rate Sheets

• Manage account documentation such as Account Clearance, Acknowledgement Letters, Underwriting Documentation, and Closing Letters

• Handle data entry into the Agency Management System while ensuring its accurate management

• Guarantee accurate and timely servicing of accounts in accordance with Division or Department Service Standards

• Provide administrative support and other related services as needed

• Participate in projects or assignments as required.

Requirements • Applicants must have a strong background in the insurance industry.

• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks is a must.

• Prior experience in performing receptionist duties is required.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.

• Candidates must demonstrate strong administrative skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.

• Outstanding organizational and time management skills are required.

• Detail-oriented and able to handle sensitive information confidentially.

• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.

• Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others.

• Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative when necessary.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
