Robert Half Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer in Eden Prairie, Minnesota
Description
Hybrid in office 2-3 days per week in south west metro, MN.
Our client is seeking a BI/Automation Developer to join our in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In this role, you will be utilizing your skills in Python, PowerShell scripting, database management, and Microsoft Power BI to develop, maintain, and improve reports and dashboards. You will also work closely with C-level executives to understand their needs, implement automation solutions, and provide technical support to other team members.
Responsibilities:
• PowerBI, Python, and PowerShell.
• Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline workflows and processes.
• Maintain PowerShell-based file transfer automation processes.
• Understand our business in-depth and create solutions that enhance performance and user experience.
• Be responsible for the entire project life cycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and support.
• Conduct testing, bug fixes, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and training.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the field of Business Intelligence.
• Analyze business application requirements for functional areas.
• Document software specifications and train support staff and users.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Power BI
• Experience in Database management and operations
• Strong skills in Python programming language
• Knowledge and experience in PowerShell Scripting
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field is preferred
