Robert Half Entry Level Accountant in Eden Prairie, Minnesota
Robert Half is currently seeking an Accountant for an entry-level opportunity for the next 3-4 months. This role would be perfect for a new accounting graduate or a student looking for a project to fulfil an internship. In this role, you will be assisting an Eden Prairie, Minnesota based client with a variety of clean-up tasks, including account reconciliations, inventory adjustments, research and Excel projects.
Reconcile a backlog of bank account statements, going back 6-12 months for most accounts
Conduct research to determine if transactions were coded to the appropriate account, preparing the adjusting entry as needed
Enter inventory receipts and match them with the appropriate purchase order, ensuring all amounts correctly match
Prepare various ad hoc reports for Accounting Manager and Controller
Provide support to accounts payable on an as needed basis
Various other administrative tasks as requested
Prior office experience highly desired, but not required
1+ years of prior work history
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong data entry skills
Interest in account reconciliation
