Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Description

We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for executing HR strategies and managing HR operations. This includes talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and training and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote positive employee relations to align with the company vision and mission

• Partner with management to understand and execute the HR and talent strategy, focusing on current and future talent needs, retention, and succession planning

• Handle complex, specialized, and sensitive HR issues, including accommodations, investigations, and terminations

• Stay updated on trends in compensation and benefits; propose competitive total rewards programs to attract and retain top talent

• Support learning and development programs that provide internal development opportunities for employees

• Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations

• Plan, organize, and administer company events and meetings to maintain employee appreciation and engagement

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law

• Manage the talent acquisition process in partnerships with third-party agencies, including interviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles

• Maintain talent acquisition metrics to determine the effectiveness of sourcing strategies, time to fill, identification of critical talent to meet business goals and talent pipeline development

• Set up and run standard and custom reports as needed to generate management information and analytical reports necessary to proactively partner with the business

• Support HR Team with the implementation of new modules and maintain HRIS to streamline payroll and HR processes, simplify administration, and metric reporting to better automate the department

An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar and 7+ years of comprehensive HR experience. This position is 100% onsite. Full benefits are also available for this position.

Requirements • Proficiency in HRMS and UKG Pro is essential

• Experience in Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration is required

• Strong knowledge of Compliance and Employee Relations is necessary

• Expertise in Human Resources (HR) Administration is crucial

• Prior experience in the Manufacturing sector is a plus

• Familiarity with Workers Compensation and Workers Comp Law is beneficial

• Ability to strategize Learning and Development initiatives is required

• Experience in Employee Training is necessary

• Fluency in Spanish Language and Spanish Translation is an asset

• Knowledge of Leave of Absence policies is essential

• Experience in leading a Safety Committee is desired

• Proven track record in Training & Development is necessary

• Skills in Training Design and Training Presentation are preferred
