Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a proficient Accounts Receivable Specialist in Deer Park, NY. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in our finance team, primarily handling accounts receivable tasks. The job function involves managing customer accounts, processing payments, and maintaining precise records of all transactions.
Responsibilities:
• Streamline accounts receivable processes using the NetSuite platform
• Handle daily accounts receivable functions including invoicing and customer reconciliations
• Post receipts for goods sold or services rendered accurately and promptly
• Generate comprehensive financial statements and prepare reports on revenue and receivables
• Diligently research and resolve payment discrepancies and customer billing issues
• Collaborate proactively with the finance team members to achieve department objectives
• Handle ACH/Wire payments posting and other cash handling activities
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Utilize various Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools to enhance accounting functions
• Engage in check processing and other payment processing activities.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must-have for this role.
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required.
• Strong understanding and experience with Accounting Functions are essential.
• Prior experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is important.
• Candidates should have a solid background in Billing Functions.
• Experience with Cash Activity management is needed.
• Cash Handling skills are crucial for this role.
• Proficiency in using NetSuite software will be beneficial.
• Experience in Check Processing is a significant advantage.
• Ability to understand and interpret Financial Statements is necessary.
• Experience in Financial Statement Preparation is required.
• Proficiency in Payment Processing is a key requirement.
