Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Edina, Minnesota
Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to become a part of our team in the Credit Agencies industry based in Edina, Minnesota, United States. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity where you will be responsible for handling customer accounts, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records in a standard office environment.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications within the given time frame.
• Keep customer credit records updated and accurate.
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required.
• Post payments to the correct accounts for efficient tracking and reconciliation.
• Perform adjustments on customer accounts as instructed.
• Record instances of insufficient funds to customer accounts and take appropriate action.
• Generate daily reports for management review.
• Process inactive checks for clients to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Deposit Payments to bank adhering to company's financial procedures.
• Conduct payment traces as needed for audit preparation.
• Utilize 10 Key Skills for data entry and other related tasks.
• Prepare bank deposits and ensure daily deposits are completed.
• Manage batch processing of payments and ensure accuracy. Requirements • Proficiency in collecting payments and processing credit cards
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and process daily bank deposits
• Knowledge of payment processing and posting payments to customer accounts
• Experience in generating department reports and conducting batch processing
• Ability to manage customer accounts and resolve any payment discrepancies
• Proficiency with 10 Key skills and data entry
• Experience in preparing bank deposits
• Familiarity with daily deposit procedures in a credit agency setting
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
