Description

Opportunity for an Enterprise Architect to be responsible for creating a fluid, end to end vision for how data will flow through the organization in support of the business strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Steward the long-term, strategic Enterprise Architecture program for multiple business areas and IT systems

  • Contribute to the detailed views of the application landscape and ascertain lifecycle shifts and strategic opportunities

  • Partner with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business directions into potential technological solutions

  • Assess existing current IT application environments and suggest future-state architectures

  • Contribute to the design of reference architectures

  • Partner with solution architects to provide scalable and adaptable architectural solutions and thinking within EA guidelines

  • Contribute to and support policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent technology framework is applied across the company

  • Promote the use of a shared infrastructure and business application roadmaps to reduce costs and improve information flows

  • Produces vision and strategy collateral, and creates roadmaps to lead modernization efforts

  • Serves as one of the primary technological points of contact in the organization, responsible for guidance and overarching technical oversight, governance, architecture alignment and construction efforts, including team leadership and mentoring

  • Oversees vendor interactions and the effectuation of products, services, platform(s) and other solutions along the roadmap while ensuring that technical milestones are following the program schedule

  • Develops effective standards, leads technical resources, monitors and mitigates risk, quality, security, tools adoption, etc., and ensures success in the execution of these areas

  • Serves as the technical strategy and solutions champion, fostering adoption of emerging technologies, resolving issues, responding to questions, and prescribing technical propositions by working directly with leadership, staff, and contractors

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technology leadership roles and participation in major COTS/custom integration projects and transformation programs at scale

  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise-scope architectural engagements, technical leadership at the program level, along with a demonstrated, successful track record of delivery

  • Experience and accomplishments with de-facto cloud providers (AWS/Azure/Google), applying serverless products using managed services and platform-based application technologies in solution architecture, design and system development

  • Excellent oral communications, bringing thought, vision and strategy leadership with excellent presentation skills

  • Ability to support a shifting business culture and technology landscape in a dynamic environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong consultative skills at a cross-functional level

  • Demonstrated ability to consult across varying IT and business stakeholders

  • Comfortable with assessing and recommending new technologies
