Robert Half Accounts Payable Analyst in Edison, New Jersey
Description
A national consumer products company in Edison seek an Accounts Payable Analyst with two plus years of experience. A degree in business or accounting is preferred, or any progress towards a degree would be acceptable as well. This is a hybrid opportunity and will work 3 days a week in the office and 2 days at home. A strong proficiency in Excel is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes.
Conduct thorough analysis of payment discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Review and process invoices accurately and efficiently.
Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline operations.
