Robert Half Scheduling Coordinator in Edison, New Jersey

Description

We are in search of a Scheduling Coordinator, who will be part of our client's team in Edison, New Jersey area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and coordinate project schedules, work with internal teams, and maintain strong client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the scheduling operations and coordinate with a team of schedulers

• Collaborate with Project Managers, warehouse teams, and clients to coordinate project installation schedules

• Set project schedules and liaise with contractors and crew for smooth execution

• Utilize Excel for tracking purposes, ensuring accurate data entry and organization

• Communicate project updates and relevant information to clients as needed

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure all materials needed for projects are available

• Take the lead in implementing new systems for improved efficiency

• Display a keen eye for detail in managing multiple project components concurrently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.

• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.

• Demonstrated ability in scheduling and coordinating tasks within a retail environment.

• Proficient in using scheduling software and other relevant computer applications.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.

• Experience in the furniture retail industry is preferred.

• Familiarity with inventory management and control processes.

• Ability to work flexibly including weekends and holidays.
