Our client is a well-established law firm in Edmund, Oklahoma, seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing comprehensive support to attorneys.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research using various online and print resources.
Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, correspondence, and briefs.
Manage and maintain client files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate logistics for attorneys.
Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other legal professionals.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or Legal Administration preferred, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a legal setting.
Strong research and writing skills.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
